The city of Ardmore in south central Oklahoma has merged onto the broadband highway with the introduction of their new citywide wireless broadband network. The network covers more than 43 square miles with ubiquitous broadband coverage.

The network was engineered and built by Integrated Systems International and is now managed by the Community Communications Authority. The city will use the network for first responders and city personnel communications and may offer broadband services to the public at a later date.
